These are 2 concepts basedon emergency lighting designed for “ETAPLighting”, developed with Brecht Van Kerrebroeck.
The light stimulates the imagination, that’swhy it easily fits in every environment.
I see my lamp in buildings (like hospitals), provided with a waiting room, where people can drift away and forget their problems.

Concept1

Thelamp gets assembled in the factory. When placing, the user should remove thetop cover, mount the profile to the wall and put the batteries and circuitboard back in place. The top cover is tightened with an Allen screw  to ensure that no passenger can open it.
Concept2

Herewe use the flexibility of the upper cover to hold it in place. By providing anextra border, we can click the cover onto the mounting bracket.
The base cover is provided with 3 tabs. First we hookthe middle tab in place, than we bend the 2 ends together and insert the remainingtabs.
Thisvideo demonstrates the lamp in use. You’re walking in a hallway while there’s apower failure, the lights go down and the internal batteries power 1 powerledthat (by using a special reflector) illuminates your path.
